Analeise Murahidy

Executive Director - Strategic Growth

Analeise has been with UniServices since 2009. Prior to joining UniServices she held contract management, operations and business development roles within the tertiary sector in the UK and New Zealand. In 2024 she was appointed to the role of Executive Director, Strategic Growth.

Kerryn Kilkenny

Strategic Growth Manager - Infectious Diseases

Kerryn has been with UniServices since 2018, joining from publisher SpringerNature, where she held commercial and product management roles in New Zealand, England and Australia. With an MSc in Pharmacology and Physiology, she has an interest in drug development. Contact her about opportunities for research in infectious diseases.

Rebecca Adams

Sector Specialist - Government

Rebecca (Ngāi Tahu) has been with UniServices since 2016 and is based in Wellington to connect researchers with government agencies and other research entities. She has worked as a diplomat for the NZ Government and is involved in philanthropic work. Contact about: Research that might be relevant to government agencies.

Mike Roger

Strategic Growth Manager - Energy & Climate Innovations

Mike has been with UniServices since 2023, in government relations and strategic business growth roles. Prior to joining UniServices, Mike held a number of policy and strategy positions in the NZ public sector, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Ministry for the Environment, and holds Masters degrees from the Australian National University. Sector Specialist - Pacific

Pedro joined UniServices in August 2022. Of Samoan and Dutch descent, he holds an MBA and has 20+ years in business management, sales and client relationships. Dion Peita

Manutaki Whanaketanga Umanga Māori | Sector Specialist - Māori

Dion (Te Rārawa, Ngāti Te Ata Waiohua, Ngāti Tīpa) joined UniServices in September 2022. A former executive in the heritage industry, he has expertise in complex engagement with Māori. Luke has been with UniServices since 2022, creating partnerships for University researchers with industry and government. Previously, Luke worked as the CTO of a growing electronic and software consultancy, turning innovative ideas into commercial products. Hope Harding

Partnerships & Innovation Manager – Health Technologies

Melodie Lindsay

Partnerships & Innovation Manager - Food Tech & Agri Tech

Melodie has been with UniServices since 2024. She holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology. Prior to joining UniServices, she worked in research and development for an award-winning agribusiness and later in product development and marketing for the health and wellness sector. Nishad Parkar

Partnerships & Innovation Manager - Drug Development

Nishad has been with UniServices since 2023 and is a pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has previously worked across medical communications and medical affairs supporting the pharmaceutical industry through scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic medical input. Passionate about healthcare innovation and improving patient lives, Nishad thrives on driving collaborative success that delivers meaningful impact for patients. Javed Khan

Partnerships & Innovation Manager – Environment, Cleantech & Blue Economy

Javed joined UniServices in 2025. He holds a PhD in marine ecophysiology and aquaculture technologies. After pursuing an academic career in Northern Europe, he came home to help develop the local aquaculture industry through postings with Crown Research Institutes, marine biotech, and cleantech-focused startup companies.
